2. Delivery Services & Accuracy of Information
Accuracy of Details: To ensure successful delivery, the customer bears sole responsibility for the accuracy of the location (address or map Pin) and contact information (phone/WhatsApp number).
Property Access: Especially for the Pre-Arrival service, the customer must ensure that we have the correct contact details for the villa manager/owner to arrange timely access to the property.
3. Product Policy & Substitutions
Availability: We source fresh products daily from local producers (butchers, bakeries, etc.). Availability is subject to change without notice depending on local production.
Substitution: In the event of an item being out of stock, we will contact you for an alternative. If we are unable to reach you, we reserve the right to substitute the product with one of similar quality and price or proceed with a refund for that specific item.
Cancellations: At Vacation Market, we are committed to providing only the freshest products, which are sourced specifically for you immediately after your order is placed. For this reason, cancellations are not accepted once the processing of your order has begun, as products are perishable and ordered specifically for your personal service.
Returns: According to hygiene regulations, returns are not accepted for perishable goods (dairy, meat, bakery items), unless the product is proven to be spoiled upon delivery.
Inspection: Mid-stay customers are required to inspect their products upon delivery. Once the delivery driver has departed, no further errors or discrepancies can be recognized.
5. Delivery Responsibility & Transfer of Risk
Pre-Arrival Service: Our responsibility is completed upon the successful placement of products inside the accommodation.
Mid-Stay Service: Once a delivery window is confirmed (via WhatsApp/SMS), you are required to be present at the property.
Absence / Communication Issues: If there is no response upon our arrival, the order will be left at the entrance of the villa. From that moment, Vacation Market bears no responsibility for product spoilage due to temperature or for any potential theft or loss.
Storage: After delivery, the responsibility for the proper storage and refrigeration of the products belongs solely to the customer.
6. Food Safety & Allergies
Vacation Market acts as an intermediary and delivery service. Please read the producers’ labels carefully for any allergens. We bear no responsibility for inaccuracies on the labels provided by the producers.
7. Pricing & Payments
All prices include VAT.
We reserve the right to change prices; however, the price confirmed during checkout remains fixed for that specific order.
8. Sale of Alcoholic Beverages
Age Requirement: In accordance with Greek law, the purchase and consumption of alcoholic beverages are strictly permitted to individuals aged 18 and over. By placing an order that includes alcohol, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
Age Verification:Vacation Market follows a strict policy for the protection of minors. We reserve the right to request a valid government-issued ID (ID card or passport) upon delivery to verify the recipient’s age.
Refusal of Delivery: If the recipient is found to be a minor or refuses to provide valid identification, alcoholic products will not be handed over. In this instance, no refund will be issued for the specific alcoholic items.
